I celebrated American Independence with American beer.
Lagunitas Lucky 13. A mondo red ale.
76.92 IBU’s & 8.3% alcohol.
It was Beautiful.
It had a nice grassy nose and an incredible melon, floral, grass hop taste. It also had a strong bready malt backbone with a very slight cherry taste.
I love America.

ooooooohhh. I could so use a beer right now. We aren’t allowed to consume when kids are around. But this weekend we get to go to town. And no kids! So I get to have a martini! How was the beer?
It was magnifique. Screw the martini. See if you can find some local brews.
